AvatarUX
Company Overview
AvatarUX is a slot studio that launched in 2019, entering the market through a distribution partnership with Yggdrasil before building out its own catalogue and technology. The company runs a hybrid distribution model, supplying operators directly while also releasing content through third-party resellers and distributors.
The studio operates from three offices — Noida, India; Birkirkara, Malta; and Kraków, Poland — without designating any single location as a headquarters. AvatarUX has been through several changes at the top: Nicola Longmuir became CEO in January 2022, Lara Falzon succeeded her in early 2024 following an announcement in December 2023, and Andrew Foster took over as CEO in September 2025, with a Chief Product Officer hire following shortly after.
AvatarUX’s identity centers on PopWins™, a proprietary mechanic it describes as “award-winning,” which the studio launched in 2020 and has since built into a franchise of related titles. In 2021 the company brought its content distribution in-house by launching its own Remote Gaming Server (RGS). AvatarUX’s homepage also lists a run of industry-award recognitions between 2021 and 2024, including an EGR Slot Supplier Rising Star award (2022), a CasinoBeats Game Innovation award (2021), a CasinoBeats Game Mechanic of the Year award (2023), and a SlotsWise Slot Game Developer of the Year award (2024) — industry accolades rather than regulatory licenses, and self-reported by the studio.

Flagship Games & Style
PopWins™ is AvatarUX’s core proprietary mechanic and the base for a “Pop” franchise of titles, including CherryPop™, LooneyPop™, and MonkeyPop™. Beyond PopWins™, the studio has developed several other in-house mechanic brands, among them ZapReel™, MultiPop™, StickyPop™, Xpops and Popscade, and Infinity Stacks.
AvatarUX also licenses its own intellectual property outward — it struck a deal allowing StakeLogic to use the PopWins™ mechanic in StakeLogic’s own releases, a licensing arrangement rather than a standard distribution partnership.
Distribution runs through a mix of platform and aggregation partners rather than direct-to-operator supply alone: Yggdrasil since the studio’s 2019 launch, Light & Wonder since 2022, Relax Gaming’s Silver Bullet program (joined 2023) which expanded into the Powered By Relax platform in March 2026, and Digitain’s Casino Engine aggregation platform since March 2025. These are platform and technology partners rather than consumer-facing casino brands.
