This page describes how CasinoHostNews Editorial Team researches and verifies the game coverage published on this site.

How We Research a Game

1. Identify a newly released or notable game from a covered provider.
2. Locate the provider’s official game page and, where available, an official press release or news post.
3. Extract specifications (RTP, volatility, maximum win, layout, paylines/ways, features, release date) directly from that official source.
4. Where independent trade-press coverage exists, cross-check figures against it and note any discrepancy rather than picking one silently.
5. Any figure that is not explicitly stated by the provider is marked “Not disclosed by the provider” — it is never estimated or inferred.
6. The article is drafted with every claim tied to a numbered source in the Sources section.
7. A second, independent pass checks the draft against the sources before publication.

Source Priority for Specifications

RTP, volatility, and maximum-win figures are sourced in this order of preference:

• Tier A — Official: the game provider’s own game page or press release. This is the primary and preferred source for every figure we publish.
• Tier B — Independent trade press: used to cross-check or to fill a gap when the official page does not state a figure, and always labeled as trade-press-sourced rather than provider-confirmed.
• Tier C — Demo observation: used only where a hands-on review has actually been conducted; clearly marked as observation, not a certified statistic.

We do not run independent RTP/volatility testing or use a certified testing lab — published figures reflect what the provider (or, secondarily, trade press) has stated, not an in-house audit.

Content Types

• Release Analysis: based on official and, where available, independent published sources. No hands-on testing was performed for this type. This is the majority of our game coverage.
• Hands-on Review: a reviewer has actually played a demo or live build and reports direct observations, credited to that individual.
• News: factual reporting on a release or industry development, with no review verdict.

Every article states which of these it is, and a release analysis never claims first-hand testing.
