January 14, 2026 – Playtech has entered into a new content partnership with South African online operator LottoStar, further strengthening its presence within the country’s regulated iGaming market.
Under the agreement, more than 100 Playtech titles will be integrated into the LottoStar platform. The rollout includes a portfolio of slot games, live casino tables, and promotional engagement tools designed to support operator-level customization.
The integration reflects continued supplier investment in the South African market, which has experienced steady growth and increasing regulatory structure over recent years. By expanding its distribution network within the region, Playtech reinforces its strategic focus on key emerging markets across Africa.
Simon Munsamy, Managing Director for Africa at Playtech, described the collaboration as part of the company’s ongoing regional expansion strategy, noting the strong performance of Playtech’s product suite within the South African player base.
A spokesperson for LottoStar stated that the addition of the Playtech portfolio broadens the operator’s content offering while maintaining alignment with responsible gaming standards and compliance requirements within the jurisdiction.
The agreement represents another step in Playtech’s international expansion efforts, as suppliers continue to compete for distribution partnerships in regulated African markets.
